Riviera Nayarit Wind Festival: May 17th – 19th
The Riviera Nayarit Wind Festival is amping up for it’s 9th edition. If you live in the Banderas Bay area during mid May 2019, you simply can’t miss this incredible event. The 1st Edition of Wind Festival occurred in 2011 thanks to the initiative of the Mexican Kiteboard Association which aimed to create a space so the sport of sailing in the Riviera Nayarit region could be promoted. As a result, this event is held annually in the coastal town of Nuevo Vallarta just north of Puerto Vallarta. Each years has exceeded the expectations of the organizing committee and attendance and community support is on the rise.
